ONEONTA – With 92 votes each, independent Jeff Back and Democrat Michelle Osterhoudt have tied in the race for  Common Council’s Fourth Ward seat.  One ballot was contested because of a wrong date, and, if no one takes it to court, the ballot will be opened on Friday, Nov. 13, to determine the winner.

In the Fifth Ward, Democrat Dana Levison beat incumbent Republican Madolyn Palmer 101-95

Additionally, Democrat Andrew Stammel, 603-583,  has formally defeated incumbent Janet Hurley Quackenbush, who had conceded the race last week.
