HAWKS HONORED: Six Hartwick College student‑athletes earned Empire 8 All‑Conference recognition following the Hawks’ historic inaugural flag football season, placing Hartwick second only to regular‑season champion SUNY Geneseo in total honorees. Senior captain Ellie Kalbach ’26 of Spring City, Pennsylvania and first‑year standout Ziyon Harrison ’29 of Clay were named to the First Team Defense. Audra Doll ’29 of Greene earned a Second Team nod at linebacker. Hartwick also landed three players on the Second Team Offense, led by first‑year quarterback Audra Doll. Bailey McCoy ’28 of Otego and Anne Stanavich ’27 of Amsterdam were recognized for their contributions at receiver. Senior center Brooke Sands ’26 of Antwerp was selected as Hartwick’s representative on the Empire 8 Tomorrow’s Leaders Team, which honors student‑athletes who demonstrate leadership on the field, in the classroom, and in the community. The Hawks capped their inaugural campaign with four wins, including three in conference play, and secured a berth in the first‑ever Empire 8 Championship Tournament.
LUND LAUDED: Haylie Lund of Edmeston has been named to the Wilkes University Dean’s List for the spring 2026 semester. To earn the distinction, students must complete at least 12 credits and achieve a minimum 3.5 GPA.
