Petition: Move Trucks, Buses Off Residential Streets
COOPERSTOWN — An e-petition is circulating encouraging the Village of Cooperstown to prohibit trucks and buses on residential streets.
“Heavy vehicles can use state and county roads by right,” the petition reads. “They use Village streets at the discretion of the Village. The Village can and should re-route most heavy vehicle traffic off residential streets.”
