KLUGO’S 2ND PROJECT READY

Ribbon Cut On

Redone Stevens

Developer Chip Klugo cuts the ribbon a few minutes ago on the newly renovated Stevens Hardware building on Main Street, Oneonta, his second downtown redevelopment project in the City of the Hills. With him, left, is friend Elaine McGeffrick and, at right, Blaine Minor from Corning Commercial Credit and architect Elise Johnson Schmidt, also from Corning.  Klugo, who had completed successful projects in Corning and Bath, in 2011 took on the task of turning the former Bresee’s Department Store into stores and apartments, and putting apartments in the former telephone exchange on Dietz Street. At this hour, a throng of attendees is touring the apartments. (Photo courtesy Barbara Ann Heegan)
