Jim Seward, R-Milford, cut the ribbon on the latest incarnation of The Elm Inn on East Main Street, Milford. Participants, from left, are server Jennifer McClelland, bar manager Samantha Borgstrom, Milford Mayor Sabine Curry, the senator, the restaurateur, Otsego Chamber of Commerce President Barbara Ann Heegan, the Rev. Sylvia Barrett, pastor, Milford United Methodist Church, Buck’s mom, Helen Canon, and Cooperstown Chamber Executive Director Matt Hazzard. Several dozen patrons and well-wishers were on hand to congratulate the new owner of the local institution, who moved to town a year ago from the Midwest.
