A Serendipitous Triple Sighting

We intended to go to the Otsego Lake Association Annual Gathering, which was Saturday. We went Sunday and no one was there. We turned around in the conservation area and while driving out spotted a bald eagle in a tree. We stopped and there were soon two juvenile eagles without the white head. How did they find a conservation area at Brookwood Point?
