SteelDrivers Has ‘Em Dancin’

The Grammy-winning SteelDrivers, with red-headed Tammy Rogers as the focal point, had 450 pairs of feet tapping in the Foothills Main Theater this evening, and folks dancing in the aisles at the first two-day Bluegrass Americana Festival ending in a flurry of flddling, and banjo and guitar pickin'.
The Grammy-winning SteelDrivers, with red-headed Tammy Rogers as the focal point, had 450 pairs of feet tapping in the Foothills Main Theater this evening, and folks dancing in the aisles at the first two-day Bluegrass Americana Festival ended in a flurry of fiddling, and banjo and guitar pickin’.  Flanking Tammy are, from left, Richard Bailey on banjo; Brent Truit on mandolin;  Mike Fleming on bass and, off to the right, Gary Nichols on guitar, whose “Peacemaker” had fans sitting on the edge of their seats.   The festival brought in Bluegrass fans from around Central New York to the City of the Hills.   (Jim Kevlin/AllOTSEGO.com)
