CHECK YOUR STORAGE UNITS

Stolen Goods May Belong

To You, Troopers Suspect

Here are some of the good seized in last August’s raid.

ONEONTA – If you live in the Oneonta area check your storage units, sheds or garages, state police are suggesting.

If you find items missing, you may be able to reclaim them 1-3 p.m. Wednesday at the Oneonta Barracks, 199 Oneida St.

In August 2020, a number of items troopers believe were taken from storage units, shed or vehicles over the summer were recovered during arrests at a local motel.

They include jewelry, electronics, tools and household items.

To claim an item, you will need proof it belongs to you, including receipts, instruction manuals, pictures, or perhaps just a description of the item.

If you attend, wear a mask and practice safe social distancing.

For more information, call the Oneonta Barracks at at (607) 432-3211.
