At Fallen Officer’s Funeral

Trooper Nicholas Clark Killed In Domestic Dispute

SIDNEY – A contingent of troopers from Troop C headquarters here will attend Trooper Nicholas Clark’s funeral Sunday in Alfred, Trooper Aga Dembinska, spokesman for the troop that covers Otsego County, reports.

Trooper Clark, 29, was killed responding a domestic dispute early Monday morning at the home of Steven Kiley, 43, principal at Bradford Central School, near Corning.  Kiley then committed suicide.

Dembinska, who is at the scene helping other PIOs prepare for the funeral, said Clark served Troop C, but at its western end.   On graduating from the State Police Academy, he was assigned to Ithaca, then Auburn, before his current assignment in Bath.
