Voting Machine Breaks Down,

But Repaired With All Votes Safe

COOPERSTOWN – The voting machine at the Town of Otsego polling place inside St. Mary’s Parish Hall broke down, but has been repaired, according to Voting Inspector Mary Anne Whelan.

The breakdown was caused by a jammed ballot, said Whelan, who added that it appears no ballots were lost.  Voting is continuing at a heavy pace, she said.
