Color, Patterns Can Save Lives

I watched a show on “National Geographic” about octopuses recently. Octopuses use colors to hide from and/or deter predators. Therefore, colors can be used to protect human divers and swimmers by incorporating known colors and color patterns that are warning displays onto bathing suits and diving equipment. Chip Northrup: “Wet suits are the color of seals. Good idea!”
