What’s fun in Otsego County: Best Bets 8-26-21

Family Farm Day is back! Hop in your car and explore about 40 local farms throughout Schoharie, Otsego and Delaware counties. The farms will offer tours, tastings and more. Learn about everything farming in our corner of Upstate, including beekeeping and fish farming. The guide is available from participating farms, local farmers’ markets, libraries and online. Experience scenic Route 20 on foot. Come out for The Falling Footsteps Road challenge, featuring a 5K run or a 1K walk down the scenic byway. All proceeds go to support the local Community Center. Event will include prizes and post-race hot dogs. Cost, is $20/person for the 5K. Registration required. Health guidelines will be followed. Seniors are invited for a fun afternoon of ice cream and bingo. Hosted by the Otsego County Office for the Aging. All people aged 60+ and a guest are welcome.
