Beats Record By 2 Degrees

The 88-degree record high on Memorial Day Weekend Saturday beat the 86-degree  market set in 1911 and tied in 1978,  AllOTSEGO.com (and Hometown Oneonta and Freeman’s Journal) weather watcher Dave Mattice reports.

Thursday, the high was 85 degrees; Friday, 86, and Sunday, 86, Mattice reports, not record but enough to constitute a heat wave around here.
