Transplant Behind Her,

She Gives ‘Heart & Sole’

Mary Margaret Sohns of Cooperstown, who received a heart transplant in March, this morning participated in the Heart & Sole Walk in Verona, N.J., sponsored by Barnabas Medical Network. Cheering her on were her husband Matt, daughter Maggie,and Pioneer Street neighbors Theresa and Tony Casale.   The fundraiser, in memory of transplant recipient Mary Anne Ahearn, benefits heart patients and heart transplant recipients at Newark Beth Israel Medical Center.
