Son, Daughter in Decatur Among Survivors

Laurie Lynn Decker Hill

DECATUR – Laurie Lynn Decker-Hill, 33, passed away unexpectedly on March 28, 2020.

Laurie was a beautiful person inside and out she had a heart of gold. Laurie grew up in Decatur she loved roaming around in the woods around her house. Laurie was a very happy go lucky person. She had a beautiful smile.

Laurie was born December 11, 1986, at Fox Hospital, to David and Cynthia Decker Sr.

 Laurie is survived by her husband of 16 years, Donald Hill lll.; son Devon Hill, and daughter Jaden Hill, of Decatur;  mother, Cynthia (Rickard) Decker, and future stepfather, John Mc Daniel of Waycross, Ga.; sister Cheryl and Matthew Rifenbark of Westford; brother David and Donna Decker Jr. of Blackshear, Ga.;father-in-law and mother-in-law Donald and Sylvia Hill Jr. of Decatur; grandmothers Lola Rickard-Adair of Worcester, Sandra Hill of North Carolina, Phyllis Hubbard of Maryland; sisters-in-law Laura Dahms and Chris Soule of Worcester, and Talia and Kyle Eckler of East Worcester; brother-in-law Joe and Melissa Dahms of West Exeter, and several nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, cousins and friends.

Laurie is predeceased by her son Jeramiah Hill; dad David Decker Sr.; grandparents David Rickard Sr., Frederick A. and Theresa (Bailey) Decker, Melvin Adair Sr., Donald Hill Sr. and Fredrick Hubbard Sr.

There will be no service at this time. The family will have a graveside service at a later date.

Donations may be made in her memory of Laurie to the Schenevus-Maryland Emergency Squad, PO Box 80, Schenevus, NY 12155.
