Coop Chamber Open House

Lures Dozens Of The Curious

A hundred-some members of the Cooperstown Chamber of Commerce passed through the doors to examine renovations to the first floor during an open house at the historic Higgins Cottage at 31 Chestnut St. Among attendees were, from left, Jim Donley of Doubleday Drivers; Chef Michael Gregory of The Lake House; Colleen Donnelly, a Bassett recruiter, and Matt Hazzard, Chamber executive director. The renovations, directed by the chamber's Hannah Bergene, removed a tall counter and created a more open look, with chairs that allow visitors to sit and review publicity material.
