Grass-Roots Activists Unite

In 19th Congressional District

Local grass-roots group opposed to the Trump Administration are popping up across Otsego County — in Cherry Valley, Cooperstown, Oneonta and the Butternut Valley – and 75 people met the other day with Sustainable Otsego moderator Adrian Kuzminski, who offered his organization’s well-populated Listserve and Facebook page to help them communicate. Similar ferment is happening across the 19th Congressional District, with Pam Kline, Town of Livingston, seeking to bring them together under in an organization called Indivisible CD19. One of the first focuses is a rally planned for 2:30 p.m. this Saturday in front of Congressman John Faso’s Kinderhook office. Get the particulars in both the Hometown Oneonta and Freeman’s Journal newspapers, on newsstands this aftertnoon.
