IN MEMORIAM: Lucy Russo, Yonkers;

Grandson, Others Survive In Oneonta

ONEONTA – Lucy Russo of Yonkers, 93, passed away peacefully at home on Sept. 22, 2017.  Survivors include a grandson in Oneonta.

She was born on March 24, 1924, in Yonkers.  During her working years, she was employed in the kitchen at Yonkers High School.

Lucy loved spending time with her family. She loved talking about her family. She is a great and loving person. Lucy would not want us sad, but happy and to remember all the great times we all shared with her.

Survivors include her grandson Christopher Russo, Oneonta, and his wife Chrissy; great-grandkids Tristen, Gianna and Christopher Jr.; great-great-grandkids Kaylee, Bryce and Kyla, and nephews Dave Bilotti and partner Patty, and Mark Jannacone and his wife.

She will laid to rest at St Mary’s Cemetery in Yonkers, with her loving husband, Lewis Russo, daughter Joanne Russo, and son Louis Russo.

Calling hours are Monday, Sept. 25, at the Sinatra Funeral Home, Yonkers (914-963-5263).  The funeral is Tuesday, Sept. 26.

Memorial contributions may be made to the charity of your choice.
