Elizabeth M. Westcott, 76;

Unadilla Funeral Director

UNADILLA – Elizabeth M. Westcott, 76, who operated the Westcott Funeral Home here with her husband, passed away on Wednesday, Jan. 24, 2018, at Fox Hospital in Oneonta.

She was born on July 10, 1941, in Brooklyn, to the late George A. and Inger C. (Mogensen) Kinsella.  She was a 1960 graduate of Unadilla Central Schools.

She married James S. Westcott on June 9, 1962, at Sacred Heart Church in Sidney, and the couple operated the funeral home together.  Her predeceased her.

She is survived by her daughter abd son-in-law, Carolyn Ann & Daniel Walters, Unadilla; two sons and a daughter-in-law, James Stephen Westcott, Otego, and Thomas Christopher and Jennifer Westcott, Endwell; grandchildren Christina (Brad) Sylva, Samantha Walters, Morgann Westcott, Cody Westcott, Elise Westcott, Carly Jo Westcott, Meredith Westcott & Kayli Westcott; one great-grandchild, Bridget Sylva, her brother, William Kinsella and also several nieces and nephews.  She was also predeceased by her brother George F. Kinsella and sister, Marion Streifeneder.

Graveside Services will be held in the spring in the Evergreen Hill Cemetery, Unadilla at the convenience of the family.  On-line condolences may be made at www.wmaddenfh.com.  Arrangements by the Westcott-Madden Funeral Home 123 Main Street Unadilla.
