Alan Trammell Undergoes

Hall Of Fame Orientation

Detroit Tigers Shortstop Alan Trammell, a six-time all-star, four-time Golden Glove winner, three-time Silver Slugger, and 1984 World Series MVP, signs the spot where his plaque will be placed after his July 29 induction into the Baseball Hall of Fame, where he went through his pre-induction orientation today.   “For an individual accomplishment, it really doesn’t get much better than this,” said Trammell. “I’m a proud, proud person, and I’m very honored to go in wearing the old english ‘D’.”  Trammell, who spent his entire career playing for Detroit, will be pictured wearing the Tigers cap on his Hall of Fame Plaque.  (Parker Fish/AllOTSEGO.com)
