IN MEMORIAM: Suzanne Allen, Schenevus;
Fought Health Issues To See Family Grow
SCHENEVUS – Suzanne E. Allen, 69, passed away, Thursday, Nov. 29, 2018, at Bassett Hospital.
For the past few years, Sue has struggled with her health, working hard to overcome them so that she could see her family grow.
She was born on June 29, 1949, in Oneonta, daughter of William and Edith (Bates) Sutton Jr.
Sue married Gary H. Allen on Aug, 12, 1972.
Suzanne loved her grandchildren. She enjoyed crafts and cake decorating.
She is survived by her husband Gary, her two sons, John Allen and Jim Allen and his wife Catherine, her mother Edith Sutton, her grandchildren, Hunter Allen, Carson Allen, Morgan Allen and Laney Allen, her brother Steve Sutton, and her many cousins.
Sue was predeceased by her father William, her father-in-law Gerald Allen and mother-in-law Pauline Smith.
A funeral service will be at 1 p.m. Tuesday, Dec. 4, at the Heller & Skinner Funeral Home, 155 Main St., Worcester, with the Rev. Donald Yarborough officiating. Calling hours will be 11 a.m. until the time of the service at 1. Burial will be in the Schenevus Cemetery.
