IN MEMORIAM: Wayne Clouse, 68;
Air Force Veteran Drove Birnie Bus
UNADILLA – Wayne A. Clouse, 68, an Air Force veteran and former Birnie Bus driver in Oneonta, passed away Tuesday, Dec. 25, 2018.
He was born on Jan. 11, 1950, in Sussex, N.J., to Donald and Bernice (McCann) Clouse, the oldest of five siblings. He married Karen Lent on Jan. 15, 1993, in Oneonta.
In addition to his wife Karen, he is survived two children, Rhonda Clouse and her partner Matthew Hayes, and Kelly and Douglas Whitehead; two grandchildren, Katlynn and DJ; sisters Janet Hill and Sandy (Rick) Peabody; brother Tim (Jackie) Clouse; his faithful canine companion, Jasper; his cousin/brother, Bill (Patty) Straut, and also several other family members.
He was predeceased by his brother, David Clouse.
Funeral Services will be held at the Westcott-Madden Funeral Home, 123 Main St., Unadilla, at 12 noon Thursday, Jan. 3. Burial will be in Evergreen Hill Cemetery, Unadilla.
The family will receive friends at the Westcott-Madden Funeral Home on Wednesday, Jan. 2, from 4 to 7 p.m.
