Lee Smith Third Of Six

To Get HoF Orientation

Lee Smith, considered one of the most dominant relief pitchers in baseball history, flashes a grin as he enters the Baseball Hall of Fame’s Hall of Plaques a few minutes ago. He is the third of six Class of 2019 members to undergo orientation at baseball’s mecca at 25 Main St.   He played with eight teams, starting with the Chicago Cubs in 1980 and ending with the Montreal Expos in 1997. With him is wife Dyana and Erik Strohl, Hall vice president/collections & exhibitions. Induction will be Sunday, July 21, in the fields next to the Clark Sports Center. (Jim Kevlin/AllOTSEGO.com)
