Big Turnout Indicated

At Oneonta Polling Site

ONEONTA – Voters cast 2,864 ballots today at Foothills Performing Arts Center, although past numbers for comparison weren't immediately available as election officials on site shut things down and left.

However, a quick review of data available suggested about two-thirds of registered voters cast ballots in the city.  If Cooperstown's experience holds – 30 to 40 percent turnout in a mid-term election – than Oneonta numbers, unsurprisingly, are high as well.
