Briefing Today On Gilbertsville Post Office Future

GILBERTSVILLE – Today at noon, U.S. Postal Service representatives are coming to the Gilbertsville Post Office to talk with the residents about where to maintain or cut back hours, perhaps even close it.

An e-mail missive to residents said, “It is very important that we have an overwhelming number of people show up to let them know that we are a force to be reckoned with … We must make them understand that we all (even if our zip codes are not 13776) dependent on our Post Office.”
