Betty Sabella Low, 96, of Albany and formerly of Milford, Oneonta, and Cooperstown, New York, died peacefully on December 9, 2024 with her family by her side. She was born in Queens, New York on February 15, 1928 to Anthony Sabella and Diana (Curreri) Sabella. She was the youngest daughter among seven children. ORHA To Celebrate 40th Year with Free Picnic

ORHA administers a variety of grant programs to help Otsego County residents afford the costs of housing. Currently, these include repair and rehabilitation programs for lower-income homeowners and rental assistance through the Section 8 program. Bachanas Charged with Three Counts of Aggravated Animal Cruelty

Bachanas was arrested on September 3 following a welfare check at a residence on County Highway 35 in the Town of Milford, at which time she was charged with abandonment of animals and failure to provide proper sustenance.
