ONEONTA – Police Chief Douglas Brenner has joined the board of directors of LEAF Council on Alcoholism & Addictions, it was announced today.
“We are pleased Chief Brenner has joined our board”, said board President Tara Barnwell. “Almost every sector of our community is now represented and he will be a huge asset”.
Brenner, who was appointed police chief in July 2017, has since served on the Otsego County Opioid Task Force.
LEAF Executive Director Julie Dostal said: “Chief Brenner brings a depth of knowledge and a sincere care for our community. We’ve had a long-term partnership with the OPD, we are pleased to have Chief Brenner further involved with LEAF”.
