Took pride in her home and property

Debra L. MacClintock

Debra L. MacClintock, 65, of Schenevus passed away at her home on Thursday, May 6, 2021 following a courageous battle with cancer.

Born on July 25, 1955 in Stamford, she was the daughter of the late William and Pauline Hollenbeck.

Debra worked for over 20 years in both the deli and bakery at Walmart in Oneonta.

Whether at work or home she was exceptionally hardworking and meticulous. She was a kind and generous woman.

She enjoyed spending time with her children and grandchildren.

Deb loved music and dancing. She was proud of her home and property. Taking care of it was a passion for her and keeping it clean and well groomed was a priority. She also enjoyed crocheting and spending time with her K-9 companions: Kane, Cookie and Lucy; and her cat: Molly.

Besides her parents, Debra was predeceased by a brother: Gordan Hollenbeck.

Debra is survived by three children: Steven (Michelle D’Aleo) MacClintock of East Meredith, Joseph (Lauren Miller) MacClintock of Porter, TX and Crystal (Josh Krone) of Monson, ME; seven grandchildren: Effia, J’ana, Liam, Makayla, Krue, Finley and Parker; great-grandson: Mateo; siblings: Linda Wood and William Hollenbeck; along with several nieces, nephews, cousins, and her longtime companion Ed Malecki.

Graveside services will be held at 1 pm on Wednesday, May, 12 at Fergusonville Cemetery, 1401 Butts Corners-Otsego Co. Line Rd., Davenport, NY. There will be a celebration of life to follow at East Meredith Fire House at 3 pm.
