WASHINGTON – In addition to his Monday Town Hall meeting in Cooperstown, U.S. Rep. Antonio Delgado, R-19th, will officially open his Otsego County office during a week-long “in-district work period,” his office announced today.

In all, he will conduct six “Town Halls” and focus on agricultural priorities in the 19th.

The new congressman will be in Oneonta 2-4 p.m. Wednesday at an open house in the new office on the fifth floor of 189 Main St.  The public is welcome.

Monday, 12:30-1:30 p.m., he will conduct a Town Hall in Cooperstown’s Village Hall.

Over the week back in the district, he will also host Town Halls in Columbia, Delaware, Montgomery, Greene and Ulster counties.

His predecessor, John Faso, the Kinderhook Republican, was criticized before and during the campaign for not holding enough public meetings.  Delgado defeated Faso Nov. 6.
