IN MEMORIAM: Doris Ransier, 76;

Springbrook Resident Loved Music

SHERBURNE – Doris Ransier, 76, a resident of Springbrook’s Cook Street home in Worcester for 30 years, passed away Jan. 22, 2019, at her home here amongst her friends and care providers.

Doris was born June 23, 1942.    She moved from Worcester to the Knapp Street Home in Sherburne, where she had been living for the past four years.

Doris was a feisty lady with a huge heart. She loved music, Elvis and singing songs about Jesus were her favorites.   She will be dearly missed by her friends and those who considered her family.

Calling hours will be from 4 p.m. to the funeral at 5 p.m. on Monday, January 28, 2019 at the Lewis, Hurley & Pietrobono Funeral Home, 51 Dietz St., Oneonta, with the Dr. Kenneth Fallon, officiating.

She will be laid to rest at the Maple Grove Cemetery in Worcester at a later date.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Springbrook, 105 Campus Drive, Oneonta, NY 13820.
