Fish, Game Club Reports $50,000

Missing; Police Charge Treasurer

HARTWICK – An Edmeston man is facing a felony larceny charge for allegedly taking $50,000 from the Burlington Flats Fish & Game Club, state police reported today.

Lawrence D. Jaeger, 60, was arrested Thursday after troopers were advised of funds missing from the club on Fish and Game Road, Town of Hartwick.

After an investigation, troopers alleged that while club treasurer, Jaeger had taken just over $50,000 from the club funds between June 2010 and May 2017.

Jaeger was arraigned in Hartwick Town Court and was released without bail.  His next court date is on September 13, 2017.
