Treasures from the past were plentiful (and affordable!) at the Greater Oneonta Historical Society’s 12th annual Postcard & Ephemeraat the Elk’s Club in Oneonta on Saturday afternoon, as crowds browsed through boxes of historical postcards, photographs, menus and more.   Among GOHS board member Bill Pietraface’s favorite finds was a historic issue of the New York Daily News from 1969 reporting on the event.  Pietraface, the retired chairman of SUNY Oneonta’s Biology & Chemistry Department, was a co-chair of the show.
