EDMESTON – Eugene Roe Nower, 70, of Edmeston, passed away May 29, 2022 in Cooperstown, NY.

Eugene was born May 6, 1952 as Eugene Robert Roe to the late Clarence and Bessie Roe. In addition to his parents, he was predeceased by two brothers and a sister, a special nephew Steven Roe and friend Alan Nower.

He graduated from Jefferson Central School and worked as a nurse in many facilities in NY and Fl. He enjoyed his time with his family and especially time spent with his grandsons Robby and Chris. He also enjoyed gardening, bird watching, sitting in his “tree house”, golfing, shopping, visiting friends, and road trips.

He will be remembered with love by his four children Charlena (Fred) Decker, Jeremiah Roe, Zechariah Roe and Joshua Roe. His grandchildren Robert Cape and Christopher Decker, his sister Betty Kniskern, special friends Ernie Mannebach and Wendy Barber, several nieces, nephews, and friends.

Funeral services will be 11:00 AM Friday June 10, 2022 at Delker & Terry Funeral Home 30 South Street Edmeston NY with interment to follow at Hillington Cemetery Morris NY.

The family would like you to join them for a gathering afterwards at Columbus Community Church. Memorial contributions may be made in Eugenes memory to Amandas House 22 Henry St Glens Falls NY 12801 or Columbus Community Church 3908 State Hwy 80 Sherburne NY 13460.

In Memoriam Gerold D. Hill 1945-2023 FREDERICKSBURG, VA—Gerold D. Hill, 78, of Homosassa, Florida and formerly of Portlandville, New York, passed away on April 15, 2023 in Fredericksburg, Virginia.
