Include Rehab In Revitalization,

Today’s GOHS Forum Suggests

The consensus at this afternoon’s discussion hosted by the Oneonta History Center was that rehabilitation of downtown buildings should be included in the city’s $10 million Downtown Revitalization Initiative (DRI) plans. Participants included Earl Cunningham, center, who rehabbed the Artware building in the 1980s, who makes a point to Bob Brzozowski, Greater Oneonta Historical Society executive director. At left is Michael Stolzer, who operates a Main Street art gallery. Attendees planned to express support for rehab at a public hearing on DRI plans, which is expected to include plans for extensive new construction,  7-9 p.m. this Tuesday in the Foothills Atrium.
