Jim Buelow, 72, Worcester;

Operated White House Inn

WORCESTER – Jim Buelow, owner of the Worcester White House Inn, and former Worcester Creameries manager,  passed away Dec. 16, 2020, at Ellis Hospital in Schenectady.

James Herman Buelow, died at 72,was born in Salamanca, son of Mary Elizabeth Weyhust and Herman Charles Buelow.

He was a member of the Northeast Dairy Foods and a beloved child of God. He was a farmer at heart who worked and supported the dairy industry his entire life.

He is survived by his wife, Lurline Tuttle Buelow; sister, Joanne Coustanis; brother, John Buelow; children, Craig Buelow, Wayne Buelow, Mark Buelow, Tracey Lasher, Jacklyn Van Rensselear; nine grandchildren; 11 great-grandchildren, two nieces and one nephew.

He was predeceased by his parents; granddaughter, Stephanie; and many friends.

Calling hours will be from 10 a.m. until noon, Sunday, Dec. 20, at Heller & Skinner Funeral Home, 155 Main St., Worcester. Face coverings and social distancing will be required. Be prepared to wait to enter the funeral home.

The funeral service and burial will be at a later date in his hometown of Little Valley.

  1. Jim was a decent man and a pleasure to know. Me and my family stayed many years at the Inn during the hunting season.
    The restaurant was great -great food and the hotel staff was excellent. Jim will be missed.
    Me and my family send our sincere condolences to Jim’s whole family.
