Onboard Oneonta Attracts

55 Future County Leaders

In a breakout session, Oneonta Mayor Gary Herzig talks with some of the 55 future community leaders who attended Onboard Oneonta Thursday evening, designed by the NYCON (the state Council of Nonprofits), to interest younger people in participating in community boards. NYCON Regional Director Andrew Marietta said, by evening's end, several had volunteers for vacancies on the boards of local nonprofits.
