ONEONTA – 110 bags of heroin, 22 marijuana plants and nine guns were seized at a Main Street residence yesterday by state troopers and the OPD.

Tadd A. Sherwood, 29, was arrested after the State Police Community Narcotics Enforcement Team, working with city uniformed officers, executed a search warrant at 510 Main St.

Also seized were $343 in currency,  digital drug scales, 22 marijuana plants, approximately 2 grams of marijuana, a marijuana pipe, five shotguns, four rifles, ammunition, three daggers, and lights with inverters and timers used in the cultivation of marijuana.

Two children, ages 5 and four weeks, were living in the home where the drugs were found.

Sherwood was charged with Criminal Possession of a Controlled Substance, third degree; Criminal Possession of a Weapon , fourth degree (weapons possession by convicted felon);  Endangering the Welfare of a Child and Unlawfully Growing Cannabis.

He was arraigned in the Town of Milford Court and remanded to the Otsego County jail without bail.
