I think it will be great for this area. Not looking forward to something that big in my back yard (literally) though
I think it’s a great plan. It will bring much needed jobs to the area as well as visitors to increase revenue to our town..! Also giving our youth something to do in this area is awesome. With no local theatre or youth clubs, this is a great way to spend their summers. I know it’s sometimes frustrating dealing with tourists but overall the good outweighs the bad.
Why not is the question. What is there really to do around the immediate area without traveling? I thinks it great. Not only will it bring in money to the local area and make businesses grow, bring in jobs, but it will give us something to do besides baseball.
Let it in hopefully it won’t be as much of a pain as the doom dreams park.
Will create year-round jobs. However there will be a lack of houskeepers, janitors and kitchen help. Dreams oark sucks up alot of those jobs. The wages will need to be higher to fill the demand. Not sure of the impact of low wage earners commuting into the area from north and south. Demand for apartments will increase and with no zoning in Hartwick everyone will be building an accessory apartment in their house. That will thin the school tax base leading to tax increases all around. Double edged sword of progress.
