Rock And Roll Sounds In Park,

Linking Johnson Generations

The rock and roll of the James & Adam Duo today opened the "Music in the Park" series the Cooperstown Chamber of Commerce has organized every Saturday this summer at Pioneer Park in the downtown.  Here, James Johnson Jr., left, signals drummer Eamonn Maguire, Cooperstown.  In the background is lead singer Adam Coe of Oneonta.  Johnson is the son of Jim Johnson, former proprietor of WZOZ radio in Oneonta, and who was watching from the sidelines today.  Himself a rocker, the elder Johnson said he and the son had performed the evening before at the B Side Ballroom, Oneonta, owned by his sister, Rebecca Carrington, and her husband Wayne.   (Jim Kevlin/AllOTSEGO.com)
