SUNY President Cuts Ribbon

On Renovated Science Building

SUNY Oneonta President Nancy Kleniewski cut the ribbon Wednesday afternoon on the renovated, state-of-the-art Physical Science Building, assisted by Provost Jim Mackin, left, and state Sen. Jim Seward, R-Milford.  “This building will help our students not only be consumers of knowledge, but producers of it,” said Kleniewski.  Behind them are, from left, Chuck Rodriguez, Vanket Sharma, Fran and Albert Read, John Hall, Nicole Pereira, Tatiana Boba,William Holt and Assistant VP for Facilities Tom Rathbone, who has been overseeing the systematic renovations of the original 1960s-era buildings.  Tours were then given of the buildings and its classrooms, many of which feature glass observation walls to fit with the “Science On Display” theme of the building.
