For CAA Quilt Show

Fenimore Quilt Club Show organizer Jean Lyons sorts through entries that were being processed today at the Cooperstown Art Association, 22 Main St., in anticipation of the annual exhibit, which runs Saturday, Feb. 9 to Sunday, Feb. 24.  See the blank walls behind Jean?  They will be adorned with 100-plus colorful quilts by the time of the opening. CAA Holiday Show & Sale Opens;

Highpoint Of Cooperstown Season

COOPERSTOWN – The Cooperstown Art Association’s Holiday Show & Sale, a high-point of the Christmas season here, opens with a reception 5-7 p.m. tomorrow (Friday) at the gallery at 22 Main St. All work is by CAA member artists, many of them local and regional.

On display through Dec. 23, the show is geared toward holiday gift giving, and includes cards, ornaments, glass, sculpture, jewelry, apparel, wood work, paintings, prints, stained glass, photos, fiber arts, toys, furniture, pottery and much.
