It was a frigid morning in Oneonta with blustery winds making it feel like 0º, but that didn’t keep 713 runners and walkers from turning out to run the annual Thanksgiving Day Turkey Trot 5K for Hospice! ONEONTA – Participants of the 3rd annual Turkey Trot wrote the names of loved ones, inspirational messages and prayers for sick or deceased family and friends on hundreds of biodegradable balloons which were released into the air before the start of the race this morning.
