Five Teens Are Charged 

In Burglary At Glassworks

ONEONTA – Five teens ages 15-18 were arrested following the burglary of a business on Roundhouse Road in early June, city police reported today.

Damion Archibald, 18, Otego, Matthew Judd, 17, Oneonta, and Rayven Golinski, 16, Otego, as well as two 15-year -olds, whose names were withheld, one from Laurens, the other from Unadilla, were arrested after Oneonta Police were called to Twisted Sisters Glassworks, 72 Roundhouse Road, to the report of a past burglary.

At the time, investigators at the scene found the building had been forcefully entered and damaged, inside and out.  They estimated $250 in damages, and reported $1,200 in merchandise was stolen or damaged.

Subsequent investigation allegedly yielded video evidence in which a juvenile suspect was identified.  The 15-year-old was interviewed by detectives, and the same day Archibald turned himself in to the police for taking part in the crime.

The teens were each charged with burglary in the second degree, a class C felony, criminal mischief, third degree, a class E felony and petit larceny, a class A misdemeanor. If convicted, they face a maximum of 30 years incarceration.
