THEY’RE OFF!

Jacob Russell, Patrick Dewey In Boston Marathon

Pals since their days at Cooperstown Central, Jacob Russell, left, and Patrick Dewey are on the move at this hour, competing in the 2019 Boston Marathon. Judy Steiner Grin of Fly Creek, inset, took and photo and had her photo taken with a banner she prepared to let Jacob and Patrick that fans from their hometown were on hand.  The team have surpassed their fundraising goal of $10,000, which will benefit Paul Newman’s Hole in the Wall Gang camp for seriously ill children, in Ashford, Conn.  Jacob is graduating in May from Harvard, and Patrick from Edinboro in Pennsylvania.
