IN MEMORIAM: Thomas F. Krietsch, 30;

Richfield; Combat Veteran Of Iraq War

RICHFIELD SPRINGS – Thomas F. Krietsch, an Iraq War combat veteran, passed away unexpectedly at his parents’ home in Richfield Springs on Saturday, Sept. 9.  He was 30.

Tom loved the outdoors.  He enjoyed hunting, fishing and taking his dogs Bouncer and Cheeko for long walks in the woods.  He ran track and played football for the Richfield Springs Indians.  He also enjoyed cooking for his family.

He served for three years in Army, including a tour in Iraq.

His memory will be carried on through his parents, Judy and Bill; brother Tim, cousins Justine, Melodie, Frank, Elise and Charlie, along with his aunts and uncles, his niece Karis and nephew Frank, grandmother Alberta Erikson, and girlfriend Kayla.

He will be greatly missed by all.

Memorial service and celebration of his life will be announced at a later date.
