IN MEMORIAM: Wanda E. Marcella, 77;

Worked At Center St.  Market, Woody’s

ONEONTA – Wanda E. Marcella, 77, who worked at the Center Street Food Store and Woody’s Hometown Deli, passed away Sept. 25, 2017, at Chestnut Park Nursing Center, Oneonta.

She was born Oct. 8, 1939 in Maryland, the daughter of Raymond and Beulah (Collison) Schaffer.

She is survived by her children, grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews; sisters, Pat Tripp (Jack) and Carol Benedict.

She was predeceased by her brothers, Raymond Schaffer and Jerry Schaffer, and a sister, Joan Lighthall.

Calling hours will be 2-3:30 p.m. Oct. 7, at the Lewis, Hurley & Pietrobono Funeral Home, followed by a service at 3:30, with the Rev. Judith A. Thistle officiating.

Interment at the Fairview Cemetery in Grand Gorge will be at the convenience of the family.
