Highest Paid Supers Here

Newyorkupstate.com’s reporter Ben Axelson followed up on last week’s article on the three highest-paid teachers in each of the 53 Upstate counties with the three highest-paid superintendents.

They are:  Oneonta’s Joe Yelich, Cooperstown’s Bill Crankshaw and Laurens’ Ramona Wenck.

Yelich is at $174,443.20; Crankshaw at $150,000, and Wenck at $143,110 – and 50 cents.

Overall, Otsego County ranks 33rd in paying its top superintendents most.

The highest paid super is Richard M. Del Moro at Middletown, Orange County, at $282,818. The lowest paid is Kelly M. Houck at Dundee Central, Yates County, at $138,000.00
