7 Accidents Reported Overnight,

But No Injuries From Snowstorm

COOPERSTOWN – Drivers stayed off the road last night as a sudden snowstorm hit the county, resulting in only seven minor motor vehicle accidents, reported Rob O’Brien, Otsego County 911 director.

“Nothing stands out as out of the ordinary,” he said. “Seems like vehicles off the road due to poor road conditions is all.”

Many businesses, including Southside Mall and the Clark Sports Center, closed early due to the sudden storm, which brought snow and ice showers throughout yesterday afternoon.

O’Brien also reported that they were “very pleased” that no one reported any “storm-related injuries.”
