Pickup, Trailer Off Rte. 28

Across From Home Depot

State police and Otsego County Sheriff’s deputies control the scene of an 11:54 a.m. crash today on Route 28, Southside Oneonta.   While hauling a trailer filled with dirt, a pickup driven by R.M. Degroff, 39, of Oneonta,  struck a utility police and went off the pavement into a ditch across from Home Depot, according to state police.   Two tickets were issued: failure to move from lane safely, and unsecure load.  There were no injuries.   (Jim Kevlin/AllOTSEGO.com)
