  1. Mr Carter was a very influential and highly respected leader of my Boy Scout Troop 272 and the principal reason I went on to achieve Eagle Scout. After graduation upon my request he personally escorted me the the military recruitment center in NYC where I enlisted and went on to serve a full 20 year career and retire from the US Air Force. Rest in Peace dear friend and we shall meet again!
